Does a job but poor design
While the iron did the job I bought it for (resoldering switch connections in a remote type car key) the handle gets overly hot after even a short period of use (15w model) and when you place the iron in the stand either the tip burns part of the plastic base or heats up the coiled steel support to the extent it is too hot to touch. While the quality appears OK it is let down by very poor design.
