Very good UPS for its price.

While i know it says to not use on servers, i used this on servers only pulling about 350VA. I have found that sometimes when i turn the power off, the servers do cut out but immediately come back on but the power supplies flash red until reset. While this probably wouldn’t be the case on a low powered desktop, i just wanted to put it out there. Its very heavy which means it has good quality battery’s and transformer. The plugs are a bit squishy but do fit okay. Overall its a good budget UPS.

    Mediocre quality

It was a knock down price so it was a deal and as I'm a retiree on a fixed pension it looked good. The thing I found most disappointing was the quality of the 2 electrical sockets was minimal. I'm not sure they would even pass British standards. It was very difficult to insert a plug and it didn't feel that secure when in. I had to bash it with my fist to make it seat. It does operate as it is supposed to. I certainly wouldn't pay full price for this.

Fantastic value , robust metal case , quiet , switches to battery power seamlessly only one bugbear cannot get the software to communicate between PC and UPS , to enable a safe shut down . I have tried loading s/w in various modes changed the USB port , the cable , how the software runs still no luck . IMPORTANT no URL/IP address for either manufacturer or publisher can be found so no help there . Overall good hardware poor software

  • Simple and effective

An easy to use UPS with UK plugs which makes life a lot easier. The recent thunder storms tested its capacity and it kept my modem, router etc up and running.

  • Ideal cctv back up power

I use this to maintain backup power for my CCTV cameras and DVR. They are big plugs so don't fit the ones on the back as they are designed for normal 3 pin plugs but this was solved using an 4 bar extension. Provides power for 3 cameras and a DVR for over 2 hours!! Brilliant for the price will buy more on the future!!

  • Great bit of kit

I live in the sticks and we still get power cuts!? My central heating is solid fuel, so the boiler needs pump running 24/7, I fit this to boiler pump and great, the pump makes a funny noise due to square waveform, but worked great, had 2 x 45-minute power cuts and no problem.

  • Unusual use for UPS.

Does a great job, using as backup for my central heating boiler power. (don't like being cold!).

  • I does its work

It works perfectly, without problem. Previously had older version for 5 years or so. This one is smaller and lighter. Just less power sockets but enough for PC and Monitor. Just a USB cable a bit shorter than it could.
