Remote control everything
Bought a set of four of these to replace some which are quite old and playing up. These units are quite compact and the remote is nice and small, not another TV remote size. Each unit has four channels, A, B, C and D each channel has three settings, 1, 2 and 3, which correspond to the on off buttons on the remote handset. It is possible to have three different table lights or electrical units and switch them on and off seperately a fourth and fifth unit would have to switch on at the same time as one of the preset electricals. I have two table lights switch on at the same time with remote number 1, on 2 I have my electric fire glow as this is on all day for a nice effect and 3 is set to switch on my laptop computer when I want to use it. To complicate things a second remote is sent and this mean you could have three more electricals operating from this by using a different channel, eg. my remote is set to 1 and operates the socket units on channel A1, more related gives you even more options as there are 12 different channels and setting. I hope this is clear, they are excellent for lazy boys like me, everything operates from my chair, but to be fair the socket into which the table lights are connected are behind furniture so quite difficult to access, these units are great. They would be useful for those of us that have limited mobility too, no more scrabbling at ground level to reach wall sockets, just push a button and things switch on. I prefer these to smart sockets operated from your mobile phone, they are much much cheaper and much more secure, who knows who has access to your phone data?? These are a really good buy and flexible too as you can buy a single unit, or two or three or four or more.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good, effective product
Good price for a product that works effectively. Controlling three sockets from one remote seems a good number to me, less clutter than one remote per socket, but not so many that it becomes difficult to remember which button controls which item. I am using it to turn a lamp and a fan on and off from in bed.
