The “Vectrons” from Siemens are very popular with private operators and leasing companies as multi-system electric locomotives of the 193 series. “LTE - Logistik und Transport GmbH” also has a few of these machines in its inventory, including the 193 232 with special foiling, which was launched on January 19th. It was taken over by the leasing company ELL Austria GmbH in January 2018. This is the 100th. Vectron for the ELL and the LTE acknowledged this in the locomotive design with the figure of the Flying Dutchman, who has been sailing under the LTE flag ever since. Symbolically, the locomotive clearly shows a “flight” over the east-west axis, a continuous rail transport from Rotterdam to Constanza. The “Flying Dutchman” launched the new locomotive design series “Logistics4Legends” at LTE.
