Better than an advent calendar!
This is a lovely traditional story with little envelopes for the child to open & see what's inside. Little delights of things, a mini jigsaw, a tiny comic plus the best one at the end a 3d peep show of a Christmas scene. I purchased the this book as it was meant to be in very good condition. It is not. The spine is torn, the envelopes within the book is torn and some of the letters are missing. Still one of the most engaging Christmas books. My daughter had it as a child and wanted it for her own family. It is a book that works on multiple layers for the young reader from the earliest age....plenty to look at visually with the rhyming rhythms that help extend vocabulary or budding readers.
