I bought this after my vet prescribed my cat 4 tablets per day ! Thankfully the cat is good natured but I found giving the tablets frustrating, hence the pill giver ! I thought you put water in the syringe part and then the tablet in the end before giving. However when I tried to put water in it pours out the end and it’s hard to block the end with your finger due to it’s design. Once you have managed to put water and the tablet in you need to secure the cat in a towel and carefully insert the end of the syringe into their mouth before pushing the plunger. The plunger is stiff and there is a audible clunk noise and the water which makes the cat a little startled. So all in all a. bIt of a life saver if you’re struggling with your cat tablets, but wish it worked smoother and that the rubber end came off so it can be filled with water easily by putting a finger on the end. My vet doesn’t like them saying they create stress, but must be better than inexpert owners trying numerous attempts at putting a pill at the back of the throat, stressing the cat, getting scratched and maybe not getting the tablets down at all ?Read full review

This product went in the bin straight after the first use. I sucked up a small amount of water into the barrel and loaded in the pill as instructed. The pill promptly dissolved and turn into a nasty tasting solution. This was exactly what I was trying to avoid! Useless.

Arrived with a crack in the tube ! Grommet inside was smaller than the tube so did not create a vacuum suction to draw up the water. These are only suitable for very small tablets. I had large tablets to give my dog (see photos) not suitable at all, but seller failed to mention this in their description

Fantastic little gadget to get pills down your pet. Quick & easy & safe to use. Would recommend this highly.

this works really well when you learn how to position your cat. It is so cheap and beats the hassle and cost of taking the cat to the vet, especially if you have a cat like mine that can smell a crushed tablet even hidden in his favourite food. But I do recommend you google how to hold your cat so it opens it's mouth.
