Save money on a transmission filter change.
Quality kit of everything you need to do a transmission filter change, but at a fraction of the price charged by the dealer. Kit comes with a new magnetic sump plug, the internal gearbox filter, the external oil cooler filter and seal, and the sump gasket. It's an easy DIY job that should take no more than an hour - and most of that is taken up by waiting for all the old oil to drain out. Tip 1: Get the gearbox up to operating temperature before draining, so that no oil is left trapped in the oil cooler. Guard against skin contact - the oil will be hot! Tip 2: Remove the oil cooler filter first, and fit it last - so you can easily reach all of the sump bolts. Tip 3: Make sure that the gearbox is up to the recommended temperature and on level ground before using the dipstick, otherwise the oil cooler will be empty and you will get a false reading. Tip 4: Check the manual for the exact quantity of oil needed, and measure what comes out, and what goes in.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
