The best value processor upgrade I've made! Yes cores/threads matter, but whats more noticeable is shear speed. Not many apps can use 6 cores, but all apps will like the speed. Processor has a turbo boost of 3.6 so it may be an old processor but it's no slough. 3 memory channels so it's nippy in that department to.
