Neutral, Transparent - excellent all around.
Functionally, the Quad Elite moves the game on compared to my old 99. It is even more neutral and simply silent. I love the fact that I cannot really hear any characteristic. For many years i have owned many types of HI FI , i have just sold on my old Quad 405 MK,2 amp , but i wanted to move on , i also have the old 909 power amp from Quad , again a good sounding amp but this QSP is by far the better amp in the way of sound , i think this model may be running down for a new model , but if you can find one and know your HI FI get one .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
