The Mattel Intellivision is a second-generation home console that helped define successive generations of video game consoles. This Intellivision console sports a black casing. The two wired controllers of the video game system slot into docking ports on its top. Of particular note to collectors and retro gamers, this controller features one of the earliest implementations of a basic analogueue controller in the form of the disc on the left side of the controller that navigate up to 16 directions. The right side of the Mattel Intellivision controller is taken up by the 12 buttons for input, which were traditionally covered by game specific overlays. This video game system also was one of the first to support downloadable games, as well. The Intellivision console uses a 16-bit graphics system. Classic retro videogame console
This is a true classic up there with the Atari 2600. More advanced than the 2600, it has two built in controllers with a disc control pad (which you will like or hate), a nice early 80s gold and mock wood panel appearance.
