Poetry in motion
This is the first Baxter Dury cd I have bought. Until recently I hadn't heard of him and only bought the cd because of his parentage.(Ian Dury) Must say that I an glad I took the plunge. This cd is amazing. The music is sublime and totally enhances Baxters voice. The poetry of the lyrics are great. THE WHOLE THING IS AMAZING. It's a good start....
Heard the single, 'Miami', and thought it was great! Bought the album - fantastic! So then I went back to 'It's a Pleasure' - not quite as good as 'Miami', but still great! Then went out and bought 'Happy Soup'. Not as good as 'It's a Pleasure' but still a nice album with some really good tracks! So, buy 'Happy Soup', but then buy 'It's a Pleasure' and, more importantly, buy 'Miami'!!! What an album! (mind the language though....)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
