old but very good
my used naim pre amp had a faulty volume motorised pot I think its a common problem with old units , I cleaned it out and re-lube d it its better but not perfect , it is very very good ,I had no idea I was missing so much information and quality , brilliant upgrade fro the rotel pre I was using .

Amazing value pre amp from Naim
Sounds ok with a power amp supplying the juice. But, as with all Naim pre-amps the performance jumps dramatically with s power supply providing juicing duties. With a flatcap 2x or Hi Cap it is transformed and becomes amazing value for money. Superb build quality and sounds very musical.

Entry level pre-amp, but for the money, there is little out-there that can match its sonic performance.
Niam's entry level pre-amp has an open sound-stage and immerses the listener into the music. It has the classic Naim timing and rhythm, but still with a relaxed warm sound. Truly, one, will be eager to rediscover their music collection. For the money it is by far the most exciting and involving preamp that I’ve listened to.
