The Nokia Asha 303 is a brilliant mobile phone when it comes to being a phone that has an excellent battery life combined with a fairly fast processor, 3.5G connectivity, a touch screen and a qwerty keyboard. Making phone calls and texting couldn't get any easier, especially with the dedicated 'Messages' button. And as for using it as a media player when connected to a HiFi system it's just as easy thanks to the dedicated Music Player button. It doesn't support true multi-tasking, but you can listen to music whilst using other features of apps on the phone, or you can even fire off a text while surfing the net or using another app, thanks again to the Messages button. The keyboard's buttons are a little on the small side, but it doesn't take long to get used to it if you have used a Nokia qwerty phone before (like the C3-00). The camera is not great, but does the job for general picture taking, not photography as it lacks advanced focus features. The touch screen is a breath of fresh air as an addition to this style of phone, and really makes basic web browsing a delight compared to having to use a D-pad. Another improvement is the volume rocker switch and the lock button on the side, something which this type of Nokia has been lacking for a while now. Although, you can still lock the screen in the classic Nokia fashion using the "Menu + *" combination. The Nokia messenger app is also an outstanding feature for anyone who needs this function on a daily basis, supporting several different accounts, including MSN, GTalk, Yahoo! and Facebook Chat.Read full review
