This smartphone operates on the GPRS and EDGE data systems with an HSDPA speed of 10.2 Mbps. Additional features for this Nokia smartphone are Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity and a microUSB port. The Nokia Asha 300 has a 5 MP camera with a 2592x1944-pixel resolution, fixed focus, and video capability. Messaging options for this touchscreen smartphone are SMS, MMS, email, push email, and IM. It also sports a WAP 2.0 HTML browser with Adobe Flash Lite along with a stereo FM radio for Internet browsing and music listening. Its 1,110-mAh lithium-ion battery can provide up to 597 hours of stand-by time and up to seven hours of talk time. I bought this Nokia Asha 300 to replace my previous Nokia Asha 300. For what I use a mobile phone - phoning and texting - this phone is perfect. I have no interest in using it for emails, internet etc. although this phone does have all the up-to-date facilities in it. I didn't want or need one the fancy all-singing-all-dancing phones, but this phone has the text buttons at the bottom but has the touch-screen at the top, so you have the best of both.
