This product is great, I have two of them, I use my iPod (5th generation) and iPhone 5C on them. Sound is good with enough volume power for everyday use and small kitchen party. It keeps the battery on both iPod and iphone topped up nicely, however if the battery is totally flat this base unit doesn't seem to be able to recharge them, there has to be a minimal charge in the battery for the base unit top them up to full charge.
