Excellent upgrade for Acer PC with LGA1155 socket.

I have been looking for a fast processor that will handle everything I throw at it without any problems and doesn't consume a lot of power (65W) compared to its rival. I don't need a quad core as my computer is aimed at gaming and general office use. I had a bit of extra spare money so splashed out on this instead of the Pentium line. For the price (£74) I thought it was a bargain. Games do not need 4.5Ghz quad cores, this is plenty for the time being. I mean if you do have the money by all means get the i5-2500K as that will basically future proof you for a good 5 years if not longer.
