I bought this phone to replace my aging Blackberry torch. Very good phone, easy to use with the same interface of any Windows 8 device utilising the metro style start menu. The ability to login to the device with your Microsoft Windows live account is brilliant allowing you to keep all your settings, contacts with you everywhere you go. Combine this with the Xbox live and Skype apps and you have the full function of your desktop on your mobile phone. Utilising the Microsoft Sky drive also makes it very easy to transfer documents and data between your phone and desktop so great for those MP3's you want to listen to everywhere. The battery life is a little short and not comparable to the old nokia phones with batteries lasting weeks and as such requires regular charging via the mini usb port. Bluetooth works well with the in car hands free but again drains the battery very quickly. Overall a very good phone for the money and when you consider the older nokia phones were priced very similar you get quite a lot for the money! This has been a good purchase and has made my decision not to follow the majority and grab myself and iPhone and I am very happy with that decision. :DRead full review
This phone is exceptionally good. I find the Nokia music section to be the best part with mix radio where you can save mixes to your phone and listen for free. Everything is in a list in one section so its easy to grasp how to use. However there is yet more for me to discover. I'm not positive how to use the internet, you tube being a problem unless you have Zune an iTunes equivalent , and yet I keep discovering interesting little things that fascinate me like stapling a mix, contact etc so that it appears on the home screen. The link with Facebook and Google mail is an extra good perk to the phone but the only problem is when you send an sms it sends to Facebook message also. I think you can save contacts and Facebook for the person separately though if you choose. However I do not know how to find my own contact details or go into my account on Facebook. The volume is loud even on low so excellent sound quality and the music still plays even when the phone is locked. It is lightweight, smooth and attractive to the eye and the extra bumper case that comes included is definitely a good thing. Overall the phone, its features, the music, photos etc are all top standard. There is an app section like other smartphones which download very quick. If there would be any downfall it would be the camera section which i don't quite get and the synced contact details (optional). But everything else is exceptional and I would buy this any day over any other smart phone on the market. Last but not least Microsoft office is a complete bonus and well worth it on this phone. I would buy it just for that if nothing else. If there is anything you don't understand on your new Nokia phone though, it is fair to add that a section 'help+how-to' explains all your queries and a low down of every section of the phone. So all the complication is taken away and you are left to simply enjoy your new smart phone.Read full review
I love this phone! It's simple, user friendly, like all other nokia phones. Looks classy, great picture quality and no problem with bluetooth like iphones.
