Choice of slice thickness
I've used a wooden guide for years and wanted one that allowed a thinner slice. This one gives a choice of three, all of which are thinner than my old one. Wonderful. Also, this one folds down to actually fit in my bread drawer...another major plus. The only thing to remember is that, since you have the choice of three thicknesses, you must remove the slices and slide the bread up to the board after four or five slices of the chosen thickness. Former doubter
I originally thought that a bread slicer was an unnecessary item. However, after having purchased this and used it several times, I have changed my opinion. I bake my own bread, so have to slice bread every day. I am very impressed how this device makes it easy to evenly slice the bread every time. Portable and adjustable bread slicing guide
Love the adjustable slice width (different sized grooves/slats), and the adjustable loaf depth/guide. And it folds flat for storage!
