Installs easy and works good

Gotta be a bit of a geek
Difficult to install on Windows 7 with Internet Explorer 11. You have to follow the links of links to find everything necessary to make it work. Instructions say it won't run on anything but IE 9 (not accurate). One thing you must do is turn off "User Account Control settings" (move slider to "Never notify", otherwise when you open VIDA all you get is a blank page. After adjusting slider you'll have to reboot. Don't forget to reset the slider after using Vida or it makes your computer vulnerable.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does not cover model years beyond 2014. If you have 2014 or earlier, may be a good product.
There is a fitment application on the item listing page. If you select 2015, V60, the application says the manual covers that model year, but the delivered DVD only covers through 2014 model year. After the frustration of installing the SW and not having access to 2015 manuals, I researched the issue on the internet. According to a number of sources, Volvo discontinued publishing repair manuals after the 2014 model year. From 2015 on you must purchase access to the documents through their VIDA website.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Too complicated to down load
Couldn't even say if the manual is any good or not. I'm not a computer expert, so I couldn't figure out the 20 pages of down loading steps to be able to use the manual. I thought it would be something that I put in the drive and it just popped up. Nope, have to do all kinds of re-configuring to my computer. It's a pretty new PC, so I didn't want to go messing with it. I don't recommend this manual. I found a free site that has scanned in the factory Volvo manual.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

low value joke
The disk is way more involved to access the repair manual. There's link to other link to download various other software to get the thing to even work. There is a disclosure regarding running the software that includes required download to unknown sites. Won't let this guy access my computer. Only purchase this if you can run the disk on a designated windows 7 computer...yes it has to be windows 7 OS or you'll be investing hours of time to TRY to run it anything else and risking your computer performance and security.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Disc for Mechanical would not download
