A good find only needing a little effort.
The HP Deskjet 1050 (not a 1055) prints fast & with great quality. Copies are also good. Haven't used scan yet. That's the good news. Bad news, It's an HP. That means the cartridges are 'protected'. That means HP wants me to buy only their cartridges. Fortunately, I found suppliers that have a work-around with ink cartridges at a reasonable price. As far as easy set up goes, it is yes & no. I had to find cartridges that worked first. With three functions, each one had to be set up separately. HP is still supporting the 1050 J410 series, so drivers & firmware were available. That's good. Needed printer to take my 4 ink cartridges and finally found the one that does, however, it does feel cheap and lightweight. But it did print well.
It was a new printer with a broken lid cover. It feels light but also not sturdy. However, the price was reasonable, but the product was flimsy. Just hope it works for a few years anyway.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This replacement printer
i already had this type of printer, and had 3 black & 3 color replacement inks, on hand when it started to acting up where one roller would seem to pull the paper sideways cause the paper to start jamming when trying to print. The price of these ink cartrigage Cause me look at getting a replacement printer that use those same type cartrigage. The price of only $20.00 including shipping was less than the price of one of them. It came package well and seem to be in new condition so all I had to do was unplug one and use these same plug to be back up and running.
