I was initially skeptical about handheld scanners but bought this one after reading multiple favorable independent reviews. I am very pleased with its convenience, performance, resolution, and value for money. It does require a steady hand, but it compares favorably with low-priced sheet feeder scanners for which some reviews report that the rollers don't always feed the paper smoothly.
