It has an auto-discharge function that executes for any capacitor under 1,000 volts. This tool is highly durable thanks to the LSI-circuit, and it has a data-hold function. A low-battery indicator lets you know when you need to recharge for further use.

I bought it because a Pro was using one
I do not have a lot of experience with this meter yet. I purchased it after watching a youtube video by a professional electronic repair person using this very meter which doing a recap job on the same amp that I had to recap. So, I assumed it was a good tool.
