Great cooler :)
I bought this for using as a fridge when camping. I read other reviews and decided this was best for me. I plugged it in to test it. Someone had mentioned it is noisy, it is noisy when going full blast but for me this would only be on full on a hot day when we're out anyway, when turned down to 'eco' it is practically silent so ideal for overnight when it's cooler anyway. On full, it's a volume you would get used to as it's a just a constant hum. I had placed a bottle of drink in it overnight to see how 'eco' worked and happily it was cold in the morning. You could make it even colder if needs be by adding ice blocks but I thought it's perfectly adequate for keeping milk butter etc at a safe temperature. Size wise I am very impressed! Because the motor is in the lid you have the entire compartment for food and drink. As stated you can easily fit a 4 pint carton of milk, I imagine 8 beer cans stacked and a bottle of wine plus whatever else stacked around it. Again I would probably using extra ice block if it's going to be fully loaded like this. Overall, very happy with this product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Fridge for Camping!
We bought this as we were getting tired of trying to keep things cool when camping. It's the first time we've had anything powered when camping and I have to say, I won't be going back. It was scorching hot in Norfolk in August and the Mobicool kept everything nice and cool, even in high heat - which is really impressive. No need to worry about milk or cheese going off! Plus it's big enough to cope with milk, juice, cheese, four beers, bottle of wine, butter, chocolate, fruit etc - for a family of five! The usb charger is a nice addition though the cover for it is quite fragile so treat it gently. The Mobicool is fan powered and this does make a noise - but this didn't bother us at all, and it was sited right next to our pod. The children couldn't hear it from there's. The Mobicool does produce water which collects in the bottom - not huge amounts but worth noting - I wouldn't put anything cardboard (egg box) in the bottom. Excellent product
Used this several times already in mains electricity mode. Cables neatly hidden away, plenty of capacity for bottles etc and gets cold very quickly. Perfect for garden and camping use. Real cool man
Bought this to replace an old, noisy cool box and it's not as noisy it's not silent either when on full power, but I used it at maximum during the day and turned it down to the eco setting at night, it still kept everything cool and the sound wasn't intrusive. Good capacity and convenient access to the contents, only downside was the cover for the leads kept disappearing inside the lid but after a while you get the knack of using it or don't bother using it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
