The Gardner Landing Net Handle is an extending pole ideal for fishing from high river banks or in reeds. It combines with either a pan net or a baiting spoon for versatile use. The tubular pole is 25mm in diameter and made of a strong but lightweight twin-layer carbon composite. It extends from 1.75m to 3m. Strong & Reliable
Most of my fishing is on the river Wye, lots of walking, steep muddy banks, often a long reach to the water and occasionally I get to scoop up a large Barbel. It took me a while to find the product I need but this is it. Yes it is a little heavier than some of the other quality products out there but for me that is not an issue. It is super strong, stiff, virtually no flex, brilliant locking system, quick and easy to adjust when I arrive at a new swim. Every part of it feels quality, no fancy grip but doesn't feel sloppy, even when my hands are wet, solid end cap and threaded boss. This thing is a piece of engineering.
