These changes include moving the button on the camera to the right side and creating a new AF section.There is a dial located on the device’s top to change the speed of the shutter. There are also lock positions for the shutter speed and exposure compensation.Located at the bottom of the shutter dial is a switch that selects metering mode: You can choose center weighted or spot metering. Around the exposure compensation dial are selections which allow single, multiple, self-timer, and two different levels of bracketing.Realistically, the Pentax MZ-3 has just about every exposure and metering option you could need. The metering mode is a six-segment matrix that averages itself to find the perfect balanced exposure. This allows you to take the most ideal pictures in a variety of different indoor and outdoor conditions.It is compatible with a wide range of Pentax 35mm lenses and flashes. This makes it a good choice for photographers looking for a good all-in-one solution for traveling or events. The camera's system allows an incredible 1/4,000 second top shutter speed and has flash synchronization up to 1/125 second.It has aperture priority and program as well as metered manual modes. The lens mount is made from KAF2 metal, and the pentaprism viewfinder has a diopter adjustment.
