This unit was sent to replace an existing shower head. Having had difficulties identifying the original head manufacture, I sent photo's to the supplier, and also had a telephone conversation with them. When the unit arrived, it clearly would not fit, as it is supplied with a "female" fitting. The photo's I sent showed a "male" fitting required. I cannot therefor comment on the performance of the shower head, but it looked to be of good quality.
