I've owned the original 3ds since it came out and I've played hundred of hours on it. I decided to buy new 3ds because I wanted to play some of the snes games that are available through the Virtual Console service only to `new` 3ds. I didn't want the XL variation of the 3ds because it keeps the same resolution at a bigger screen and I didn't want to lose the portability of the smaller model. Overall it's a great handheld, I like the fix that they did with the 3d feature that now follows your eyes and it works much better than before. I'm absolutely satisfied

This handheld system from Nintendo is worth it even you are upgrading from the original 3DS! Faster processing power all means loads games faster and plays games faster in 3D mode, I have been enjoying Pokemon and The Legend Of Zelda Ocarina Of Time in 3D Modes without having a massive headache or some sort of head trauma. I love the SNES styled buttons and Im sure most nostalgic people too! I bought this over the new Nintendo SWITCH just because I wanted a portable and life long machine which I can take anywhere. My original NDS is still going strong except one of the backlights are slightly dimmed down but these things do last if you do not encounter any hinge problems. There is no hinge problem with this device, Nintendo have made a little gap in the hinge so that when you drop the device it does not shatter the hinge. This is a great piece of gaming engineering from Nintendo and the games that are on this machine are very good and more fun than some of the other console exclusives which seem more competitive based. Have been using this machine for a straight week without any problems and this is far the best handheld system ever to release!Read full review

This is the newest system released by Nintendo in 2011. This hardware is capable of running 3D games, that can be played without 3D glasses. This is an incredible piece of hardware, then manages to outshine any competitors by far. It's graphics are smooth and the frame-rate perfect. New players may have difficulty with the 3D effects at first, which can be intensified, decreased or completely turned off. However after a couple of days practice that problem was totally gone. However, I find myself playing with the 3D turned off a lot of the time, as there is very precise positioning required to avoid seeing the double layers picture on screen. The speakers are clear and high quality and go reasonably load. The two built in cameras on the exterior of the machine allow 3D photos to be taken which another innovative feature, and then these photos can be transferred to a PC by the use of SD memory or viewed on the system. Being a relatively new system there is not so much a diverse selection of games as there is for the DS or PSP, but with new releases every month, and the 3DS quickly becoming a regular addition to the handheld wars, then this is expected to change soon. This machine outstrips all other mainstream handhelds by far, the PSP may be a graphical beast, but the 3D effects of the 3DS cast a shadow over the PSP. In terms of innovation, the 3DS is far a head of the 3DS in all respects, it can play regular DS games, it carried over the innovation of the bottom screen, transferred it and improved it. Nintendo have truly out done themselves. Definitely worth checking out, it is not necessary to even get a game with the machine, and it has some in built apps, and a diverse online shop, where a plethora of new games, and classic virtual console games can be purchased. Getting it off e-Bay saved me nearly £40, so I'd check out here first. Happy Gaming!Read full review
The main selling point of the New 3DS is the improved 3D, by far. Much smoother, less jarring and I've been playing with it on pretty much permanently. SD card management over WiFi is also pretty convenient except that it doesn't work with Windows 10, which is stupid. Definitely an improvement, but whether it's enough of one is up to you.

I bought it because all the new DS games are going to be coming out on this system now, I don't want to be left behind by the market and Nintendo is one of the last game devs I trust! I actually really enjoy the joystick controls. I thought I wouldn't use it much but the dpad is in a really awkward position for my thumb. I don't use the 3D much but it's a nice little bonus for cutscenes. I don't like the fact that they've phased out the advance cartridges and used a different type of charger to the rest of the DS series (again!) but they're not too big of a deal. If this one broke I would definitely buy a new one!
The 3DS came very quickly and seems to be in good condition. However it came without a stylus which means I'll have to buy one from somewhere else which is a little annoying. The game included was also a ds game and not 3ds which I didnt expect. Over all the DS itself seems to work fine and the screens are in good condition.

Great system, easy to set up and it explains everything on screen. Comfortable and light weight. Definitely worth the money. The 3D is impressive but gave me a head ache after a while so turned the 3D off! Battery life is very strong and doesn't take long to fully charge
The New Nintendo 3DS is the latest iteration of the 3DS family. It has more horsepower and the smaller versions have customisable face plates. I stress that you buy yourself a Nintendo 3DS to play the majority of Pokemon games, and to have backwards compatibility with region lock free Nintendo DS games. There's a reason why the 3DS is outselling the PS Vita and that's because of the quality and dedication of games that Nintendo has in this vast library of a console. Go and buy this, you will not regret the investment at all!

Shiny black console in excellent condition, looks like new and works like new. Games are good, but unfortunately one game (new Super Mario) did not work. Otherwise I'm very happy
