With three-section telescopic legs secured by fast-action twist locks for stability, the Giottos tripod can extend to a maximum height of 62.2 inches (158 cm). This aluminum tripod folds down to just 24 inches (61 cm) for convenient carrying and packing. The Giottos MT-9251 tripod features independent leg spread to adapt to uneven ground, and a rapid sliding center column. The leg locks on this aluminum tripod are specially designed to be sand-proof, preventing grit from blocking the inner workings. The top sections of the legs are protected by easy-grip foam for comfortable handling in icy or wet weather. The center column of the Giottos tripod is reversible, and there is an integral bubble level for professional users who need absolute precision in lining up their shots.
