Can be gruesome, difficult to follow
The first-person narrative (like Sleepyhead) dodges about from person to person and also in time, and it can be difficult to work out who is talking (writing?), and when the action is taking place. I don't identify the personalities clearly, like I do with Ian Rankin's novels for example.. I had to keep checking back to see who they were. I finished Sleepyhead but haven't finished Scaredycat, and found some gruesomeness, more in the twisted minds than actual gore.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
