Excellent vintage wide angle
If you want a unique look, this has it. If you want a sharp center, this has it. If you want 80% of the quality of the L lens in a smaller and lighter package, this is it. It is tack sharp in the center. The corners have some blur caused by spherical aberration but even the NFD L lenses have that. That wasn't solved until the EF L II lens. The coatings are relatively modern. It's no Nano GI but it cuts down on flaring and has decent microcontrast. I use this on a metabones speed booster and I feel like I get a unique look that separates me from the Fuji 16mm f1.4 crowd. You will have a lot of tweaking to do in high contrast situations and it won't be as good as a modern lens but it renders a great image if you know what you are doing with it. Do find a lens hood. It is required to get a contrasty image in hard light.
