I'm now a Bernina lover!
I've been a dedicated user of Pfaff machines since 1980, but when they changed to drop in bobbins, I fell out of love! To my mind, a front loading bobbin produces better quality stitches, and is much easier to use. Bobbin tension is easily adjusted, and decorative stitches are much more attractive with the proper tensions. This machine sews like a dream - and I haven't even embroidered anything with it yet! I find it easy to use, and the user manual is quite comprehensive and informative (without having to dig forever!). Bottom line: I LOVE this machine!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
