The humdrum prequel to carpenters classic original,, it's an OK movie, but the story is well not just tight,, the characters are using hi:tech equipment in the film,, but this tech wasn't available in 1982,even the clothing the characters were are not to fashion in 1982,the effects are terrible, the story not right,, best stick to the classic original,, 4;10

The first film was ignored by the critics'when originally released but has deservedly earned a reputation for being an absolutely outstanding horror/Sci-Fi film The follow up is actually a prequel to the original & although not as good still rates as highly watchable.
