Very good
Fantastic quality for price, very comfortable, but it have only two problems. 1: the case isn't as sturdy as it looks, it's rather thin plastic but for storage or if it's going in your rucksack like mine do and it isn't under much pressure (just to keep them tidy) then it meets it's propose. The second problem is the durability of the headphones. I noticed that i took one earphone out and it dropped onto my table top ( i was sat at the table at the time so it wasn't a far drop) and now, that earphone rattles when i move. It's noticeable, but it dont care. For what i paid and for the quality of sound they're worth it. Cable hasn't broken inside, they look good, they don't slip out during a work out ( provided you use the correct size earbuds). Great productVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Last a week if your lucky without breaking...............
It lasts a week if I'm lucky without breaking, I've brought a round five in the last two months I must be stark raving mad!!! these used to be top quality and last much longer. Top notch sound

Good but not great
I bought these as a replacement pair for the same model headphones, which lasted 5 years! The build quality is excellent on these headphones and they are comfortable to use, however this pair have a different sound to my old ones! I know that the sound will change over time after extended use but the sound on these new ones is very flat! The bass and treble, while both good are not what I'm used from my previous pair! I had a high respect for jvc all the way up to this xx series.
bought 2 of those headphones (one with mic one without) The first one had its driver room broken, it looks sturdy on the photos but its actually very thin plastic stuck together with very thin adhesive. This was the first I bought for about 20 $ back when they where first released A few months ago I saw the on an auction for 3$, thought that's a fair a price and won them as none else bid for them In less than a week the the cable before the jack worn out and the cables started showing, one of the drivers stopped responding and I simply tossed them to the garbage bin. As for the sound quality , they do have bass but watch out, if you are going to use them on your phone or other small devices you won't experience any difference compared to normal headphones, that's because those headphones need a higher power output headphone jack like the one on big computers and other dedicated devices. There are actually a few phones like the Sony's that have a decent jack but nearly all other phone makers opt to not spend space on their phones for a decent audio circuit.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Pros : 1. awesome bass (best ever bass earphones) 2. Cheap and still amazing build quality 3. Genuine from this seller 4. Great distinctive high end to separate low end mixed incredibly well 5. Overall amazing - highly recommend Cons: 1. White noise when bass kicks in - However it's easily ignored when you don't try and specifically listen to the white noise as it blends (you can't escape this as bass radiators will do that until you pay at least £50 for a different product - still not garentteed so just get these - it's a bloody good bass radiator what do you expect?) 2. Waste of money
As an audiophile, I strive to find the best sound quality I can. I have found that in every pair of JVC Xtreme Xplosives I have previously owned. The pair I received, however, were awful. Whilst the bass was not bad, everything else was distant if not muffled. The cable was poorly made and broke within 12 hours of use. Perhaps you do get what you pay for, but I would expect more than a day's use from a brand which normally delivers top quality.
