IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey is a combat flight simulator centered around the planes and battles of World War II. Putting players in the pilot seat of historic aircraft, this Microsoft Xbox 360 game provides adjustable skill levels to allow for players of all abilities to enjoy. Each plane has been recreated in detail by studying the original vehicle and the strengths and weaknesses of each. The sound effects in IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey have also been recorded from their real-world counterparts where possible to provide additional realism. This combat flight simulator features a wide variety of missions that range from original creations of the developers to recreations of historic battles. With around 40 planes to master, players also have the option of testing their piloting skills against others players through multiplayer. Multiple modes allow for the multiplayer option in this Microsoft Xbox 360 game to cater to a variety of play styles, from providing air support to dogfighting one another.
