A superb pro-quality monitor
The monitor has an excellent white LED backlit, IPS LCD non-reflective panel. At the default settings the monitor was way too bright but when the brightness setting was reduced from the initial 90 to 15 it was perfect (the contrast was left on the default of 80). The standard colour mode gives a pretty good approximation to my required 6500K colour temperature and the SMPTE grey scale test card looked perfect. A small adjustment was required to perfect the gamma response and Calibrize was used to do this. It may not be as accurate as could be achieved using a hardware calibration device but it's plenty good enough for my use as an amateur photographer. The stand provides plenty of adjustment and is much more robust and stable than the stands on many consumer grade monitors. The carrying handle on the back in conjunction with the vertical stand lock make it a very secure monitor to carry. The 16:10 screen ratio is in my opinion much better than 16:9 which now seems to be the norm.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Refurbished
