WAY ahead of its time.
I grew up during the beginning and rise of the video game era, starting with the NES/gameboy onwards. Actually, I even remember playing the Spectrum and Commadore 64! During that period I have owned and played and read all about the games for, basically, all of the games consoles. I even had (still have) the Panasonic 3DO. Anyway, all of this is to say that of all the consoles the N64 was the most ahead of its time and the most fun with the best selection of excellent games. Obviously there are caveats, e.g. sentimentality, age, etc., but all tings being equal, it was the BEST of them all. And even now the games and console still hold up, even if it is relatively bulky and not quite as pretty graphically/technically.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
