The L810 has a 16Mp sensor - and that may perhaps make some question whether it is 'as good' as the more recent 20Mp and higher bridge cameras available (both Nikon and others such as Sony). The lens makes up for it - for me. The Nikkor lens has very low distortion, and with lens based anti shake technology makes for very impressive picture quality. It has no viewfinder, relying on the 3 inch LCD viewer, but I found that perfectly OK. Indeed, I have another camera with both a vierwfinder and LCD and find I rarely use the viewfinder anyway. It is lightweight, yet solid well made and easy to use. It comes in 4 colours - each of them eye catching. Some people might prefer a camera which runs on the lithium ion batteries, but this uses 4 x AA batteries, and if you go for decent rechargeables you can do as well. I personally have 2 sets, one in the camera and a second fully charged in the carrying bag ready to replace the first set. If I am away on a trip I always take the charging device with me too. For a used item, this one looked brand new and worked fine. At a price a small fraction of what you can pay for a new machine, this has to be worth considering as a cost effective alternative. My experience of this auction was all good until I noticed that the seller hadn't posted feedback , after a few weeks I asked why, he gave no answer so I asked again wanting to know why after I had posted positive feedback for him, he still gave no reason, I then suggested that I would put all this in the review, finally he asked why so negative? I tried to explain that the Ebay I joined many years ago was built on trust and honesty and that feedback is essential to keep it that way, so no feedback, had I known that he would that, I would have adjusted my feedback. I might add that I won his auction with an offer that he accepted, I paid in full as soon as I checked my account , upon receiving the item I tested the camera and had to buy a memory card to fully test, everything was ok so posted positive feedback . the seller still hasn't posted feedbackRead full review

Easy to use, pictures amazing, focusing no more difficult than previous camera and photos really clear. Using batteries not a problem with rechargeable batteries. Very pleased with product.

I've bought it as a gift to my wife. She likes it as a digital camera, size, picture quality, merits and price. It's good in general, despite, I have no enough experience dealing with cameras so that I can not compare it with other, but i've bought it because of its price was cheap. In addition, I've read online, someone said: "its slow to save a photo, and while switching between pic and other". But I did not notice that.
Absolute doddle to use, produces great results with minimal knowledge,
