All I can say is Fabsil Gold is amazing for waterproofing many things and I used it in the Military. Yes it is not cheap, but it does what it says on the tin and I would never use anything else. Non greasy and once dried leaves no smell. Just make sure your item is clean and bone dry before application. 10/10! :-)
