Excellent book
I remember the moors murders very well as I was a similar age to John Kilbride and lived adjacent to Ashton market where John was taken from. In fact it was my playground. I'd never realised before how crucial David Smith was in helping to bring Brady and Hindley to justice, and how young he was. I have to say hand on heart that David is without doubt one of the best wordsmiths I have ever read. What he and his family went through before and after the trial was nothing short of scandalous. I haven't quite finished the book but I really don't want it to end. I would recommend this book to anyone.
