This correctly made puller does the job on the Triumph TR7RV engine (750cc twin) clutch basket. There are other (cheaper) puller tools like this that pretend to do the same job, but the quality of the threads at the end of the these cheaper pullers threaten to wreck the threads inside the clutch basket. Once that happens I'm not sure what you do! Don't risk making a mess of this crucial job. Its necessary to use this tool to change the front sprocket on this engine, when you are changing the rear chain and both sprockets (as you should). You also need four other special tools for the complete job. So get it right! Made by/for LF Harris - they know what they are doing!

I lent my previous tool which didn't get returned. I bought this English made tool as a replacement & found it to be excellent quality, better than my old one. I would recommend buying one.
