Very Handy!
I can consult the book before I go fishing, which is very important until I pick up the basics, but even then its still very handy to have around just in case, especially when it comes to recognising and determining what kind of fish I just court, not that I can't tell a mirror carp from a pike, but there is info on equipment, tackle and bait that one would need to know before setting out toward a certain pond, lake, river or a "swim" and even the safety aspects or rules there of!
