It was only in the few months before departure (spring 1995) that the possibly greater challenge of filming it was seriously considered. The Vince parents' had found the VX-1 a touch 'new fangled' and gladly sold it on to the Mondo team.

  • one of the greatest adventures you could ever imagine.

Mondo Enduro, the first of two round the world trips by motorcycle.....it's the real deal with ordinary working guys planning and taking part, all riding the same make and model of motorcycle to make spare parts they carry with them fit all the machines. No 4x4 following them carrying spares and supplies just what these guys could carry on their bikes, camping out in the wilds to save cash and also make life more interesting, riding and camping for one year would be a challenge for most but the biggest challenge of the trip is the Zilov Gap in Russia where there is a several hundred mile gap, no road just very rough territory including swamp crossed by most travelers by Trans Siberian Railway or plane. To anyone who likes adventure motorcycling this and the follow up film Terra Circa are not to be missed.
