  • best ever product for removing stains,

i have used Oxalic acid before after reading about it several years ago on the internet and will not use anything else because its a waste of time and money, with other products. Oxalic acid does the job and is not expensive , easy to use, with simple clear instructions excellent product to removing stains especially out of wood, newspaper ink stains etc. example i had a few oak doors stored in a cattle shed and they got stained , the Oxalic acid brought the stains out and the doors look like new after i used oxalic acid amazing product , would highly recommend 5***** site has excellent communication and very fast delivery, very happy customer

  • Great value way of buying oxalic acid

Great value product which comes with clear instructions on the packet. The crystals need dissolving in hot water and take a bit of stirring to get them to dissolve fully, but when also mixed with some wallpaper paste to make it in to a gel the product works great on removing stains from grp. Multiple times cheaper than buying the special stain remover products from a chandlery, and you get much more of it.

  • Great - used on rusty bike tank

For someone else's benefit: - I used this oxalic acid to dissolve the rust out of a RUSTY(!) ~13 litre motorcycle petrol tank. GREAT SUCCESS!! Method: - IMPORTANT: get as much loose rust out as possible by rinsing with petrol - Seal the petcock hole - I screwed a plate over the hole using some old rubber glove as a gasket - Use the entire 500g of acid (maybe still a bit weak in this application) and fill to the brim with boiling water (don't breathe!) - I then wrapped it to keep in the heat and left for ~24h - Neutralise acid with a LOT of bicarbonate of soda (I used all I had ~200g?... nowhere near enough!) - Empty tank through petcock hole.. wear gloves. - Rinse tank with water then dry AS FAST AS POSSIBLE to avoid flash rusting. I used a hair dryer.

  • Good wood bleach

Found this after searching in shops. Never used before but very easy to make up solution . Used after sanding wooden countertops. Helped remove stubborn black water marks that sanding wouldn’t budge and remaining oil. Hopefully top oil will now renew my countertops to former glory !

  • This really works to remove dark rings and staining from your wooden items! Like magic

Bought an oak bed and side tables which had been horribly misused. There were a number of black rings and marks that at first glance looked impossible to remove. My first thoughts were that I would paint the whole bed and side tables white, but I really liked the wood. After watching a few YouTube videos, I thought that I would give this a try. It COMPLETELY removed ALL the ring marks and took the wood back to its original state. It looks like nothing ever happened to it. I did have to apply about 3 times. I then used Danish oil to finish. The bed set now looks stunning with no trace of any marks (I really mean no trace) and I am so glad that I didn't have to paint it after all. EXTREMELY happy that I bought this product, and I have enough left to probably trat another 100 bed sets

  • Rust stain removal from patio

The feet on some garden furniture had gone rusty and left marks on our sandstone patio. Furniture repainted and rubber bottoms added, but stubborn stains looked awful. Researched on internet and Oxalic acid was suggested. Wet paving well first, made up a paste/slurry with a bit of water in a plastic cup and spread it on stains with an old spoon. Left it for 10 minutes and then washed off with lots of water. Most of the stains had gone. Repeated on the more stubborn ones and all gone. Great result and a very cheap way of doing it compared to the commercial ready made products. Please observe sensible safety precautions, wear gloves and eye protection.

  • Great boat hull cleaner

Soon had my boat looking clean and bright without needing any elbow grease. Being a powder this product is cheap on postage. You can use it more dilute than recommended (and more dilute than other similar products if you want to clean gently at first). I thickened it with some wall paper paste. Remember to protect your galvanised trailer.

  • Effective grafitti remover.

I bought this to try and remove spray painted grafitti from the composite fence around my house. The product was well packaged and with clear instructions. The product was effective in removing the paint without damaging the fence. It left a white residue which was powerwashed off. A very effective product. It was delivered promptly

  • Does the job

Removes rust stains from the white rendered walls of my house. Care must be taken when using all acid products, but I am a retired research chemist, so I do know what I'm doing. Always add the acid to water, not the other way round, and wear eye protection and rubber gloves.
