Lucas lead replacer provides valve seat recession protection in the absence of leaded fuels. It provides a cushion between the exhaust valve and valve seat insert to prevent the valve from sinking or receding into the seat insert, which adversely affects compression.

good value, good product
the product is good value for money, and the manufacturer has been producing oils and additives for many years.so there is a good track record of quality. the quantity measurements (100ml/45 litres) is quite clear but trying to work out how much to use say for 361/2 litres would fry my brain and if you get the right answer you still got to measure it out.. so i think it would be easier to say something like "1 cap full / gallon (4.5 litres ) would solve a lot of brain ache.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
