Keeping as spares
I bought these to fit as one the originals fitted to my Defender was deformed and letting water in. When I went to remove the deformed one I was able to re-shape it so that I did not need to change it or fit new ones. I then shut the vents down as tight as they would go and did the water test with a hose pipe. Result... no leaks. For certain, as I had removed all the dashboard, heater trunking etc. to look for other water leaks in the bulkhead. So now I have a spare set of seals to put in my own Defender parts cupboard. These seals look exactly like a pair of genuine Land Rover ones that I bought years ago and kept them a long time so that when I had to fit them to another Defender, the backing pulled off some of the adhesive from the foam. Therefore I had to apply some Unibond contact adhesive which successfully stuck them. If you are intending to buy these seals to keep as spares, I would recommend to instead buy them at the time you really need to fit them.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
