Great mirror with only one flaw
This is my favourite mirror. It doesn't vibrate all the time, as some do. It can be tightened enough so that it more or less remains in the correct position it order to see behind. It's great weakness is that if the bike fall over on that side, the plastic connection to the handlebar usually breaks beyond repair. This must have happened to me four times!! Zefal quality not upto standard
I have bought Zefal mirrors in the past because they were good quality and well made but my recent purchase the quality was not very good. The mirror did not stay in the position to view traffic and I had to make constant adjustments. As asked for (this software needs sorting 0 - do not see any need for a "title". next time i won't bother.
The horizontal swivel is a little loose, but I was able to tighten it ok with the screw,having removed it form the handlebars. so i used some insulation tape to get a snug and slip free fit, as the larger ring supplied was too big for my handle bars. Great commuter tool!
I use these mirrors on my daily 12 mile commute and they are frankly priceless. Not only can you clearly see behind you prior to moving out to pass parked cars/changing lanes etc, but drivers behind you also see you using a mirror and their perception of you becomes one of a road user rather than just another moron on a bike. They work well on my Flat Bar Boardman MX and I also have on my drop bar Genesis CDF. Due to the way the arm rotates they fold out of the way easily when not in use. Only downside is that they do snap off of you fall but otherwise a superb piece of kit!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

works but needs tightening
Bought this for my MTB road conversion which is my commuter. It fits nicely to one of my bar ends with the shims which are included. Generally, it's a decent mirror but I found that it vibrates out of place easily and needed constant re-adjustment on the move. The basic problem is that all of the bolts are not quite tight enough as shipped. The easy solution is to dismantle it prior to installation and tighten everything properly. Generally, it's a decent mirror with a couple of minutes work. The Bike Eye is probably the best on the market though.

Lightweight easy to fit.
Zefal rear view mirror. The Zefal rear view mirror is an easy to fit lightweight accessory, it fits into the end of your handlebar and clamps itself with a single screw. It is fully adjustable in all directions and gives a good view of the road behind. It is fairly tough although I have broken one during a fall. I use a local cycle track that is very popular with pedestrians as well as cyclists, we also have our fair share of the Lycra clad speed merchants that think it is a race track not a cycle track so a good rear view mirror is essential if you don't want to end up in a heap on the floor, this fits the bill perfectly. The only fault I have with it is the swivel head screw keeps coming loose and you have to remove the mirror to tighten it, the locking nut is not up to snuff. Great bit of kit
I bought this mirror for my Carrera Crossfire but had little bit of a problem fitting it as the spigot of the mirror was just a little friction too big for my handle bars. After a little bit of sanding down of the mirror spigot plug insert I managed to fit the mirror into my bar end. My brother also bought one of these mirrors and had no problem fitting his into his bar. The mirror has a clear view although being very slightly convex does make images seem a little bit further away than they are in reality, also it isn’t too big in fact it’s just the right size for your bike. I have to say these mirrors are a must for cycling. You can fit the mirrors so they crank up or down from the handlebar and my suggestion would be crank it up as it gives a little bit better rear view.
