Prevent water in your fuel tank.
Because it takes all the water and moisture accumulated in your fuel tank over time. It mixes the water and fuel together and burns it off. This stops rust in your tank and avoids a breakdown due to water in the fuel. I use it once a year about end of April just after winter. Condensation in the fuel tank is worse in cold weather. It is a great preventative to avoid a potential breakdown and rust inside the fuel tank. Still worth putting in if you have a plastic fuel tank. They say oil and water does not mix, it does with this Dry Fuel additive. I tried it with some diesel and some water. I put some Dry Fuel in and it mixed together perfectly.

Can't find out if it works in heating systems
Got this to use in heating oil tank, but could not get clear guidance from the maker that this was ok, so did not use it
