I know both professional players and beginners that use these. Excellent if you only need 9 volts and use a handful of pedals. Get a daisy chain cable for more outputs. Obviously doesn't have multiple isolated outputs or optional voltages (there are more expensive alternatives for more complex pedal boards) but is very useful for simple lightweight and portable pedalboards. Just the job. Highly recommended.

Better than a brick
I was looking at all sorts of "Brick" type power supply options but as I don't own any pedals that require an 18v supply I opted for the One Spot.Superb power supply.Output is 9 volt - 1700 mA so powers all 5 of my 9v pedals easily.Takes up only 1 mains socket.
