does the job
i bought these for the resevoir in my water feature as they are smaller than most, after using 1 for 2 weeks there has been no algae so far. all in all i'm pleased with them and will certainly buy more when needed

Loose straw!
I found this had lots of straw in the cellophane bag when it arrived. It is not suitable to use as loads of small bits of straw just fall out of the bag . This clouded the water and therefore it would clog up the pump before to long. So I could not use iit. t

don't dont bother
Put one into a freshly cleaned pond and less than 3 weeks later the algae problem has returned. I should point out I have a uv filter and oxygen pump and thought this product would be the final piece of the puzzle to having a clean pond.
