OEM Cooler
This is a direct replacement for the CPU cooler in the Dell XPS 8300 and Vostro 460. It may also work in other Core i5 based Dell products. I have one that has been running 24/7 for over 2 weeks now and it is nearly silent. The build, which is similar to Cooler Master, is high quality for an item that most people give little thought to. A check of temperatures shows all four cores to be well within the acceptable range. As this is a used part, no thermal paste was included. The end user must provide his own thermal paste prior to installation. I recommend Arctic Silver or some other ceramic based thermal paste.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

It's ok.
Decent sized heatsink, good that it comes with 4pin mobo connection, however doesn't have a copper contact for the cpu and it's REALLY tight to the motherboard. It took a good amount of effort just to screw the thing in, expect it to flex your motherboard just the tiniest of bits. I didn't want to ruin the CPU so i got a different cooler instead, but if you're ok with a little work, then it'd be fine for you.
